Key Colorado Soccer Association (CSA) Tryout Rule Updates

  • The current Spring 2026 season and all associated player commitments remain in effect through May 17th at 11:59 PM. Players are considered members of their current club/team until this time.

  • Clubs may begin open tryouts (to non-members) on May 1st, and players may enter into non-binding verbal agreements.

  • Official financial commitments and player registrations may begin on May 18th at 12:00 AM.

  • No tryouts or tryout-like events may take place on weekends (Saturday or Sunday) prior to May 23rd.

Current FC Brighton Members
Current U9-U18 players are expected to continue to attend regular practices.
Player assessments will take place during regular practices.
U8 players may register for U9/10 assessments.

Prospective Members
Step 1: Check the age chart to determine your player's age group for the 26/27 year.

Step 3: All prospective players must register for tryouts and attend a minimum of two sessions.
Attendance during the week of May 4th is strongly encouraged.
