ACADEMY
U9-U10
Our Academy teams participate in Front Range divisions of the Colorado Soccer Association league. Teams typically play 4 home games in Brighton and 4 away games in neighboring Denver-metro cities per season. Teams typically participate in at least one tournament in the fall and one tournament in the spring, although younger teams may participate in fewer tournaments. Tournament scheduling is at the coaches' discretion. Tournament fees are additional and collected at the time of tournament registration. All competitive teams practice at least 2 times per week with their team, additionally our club-wide training sessions are available throughout the Fall and Spring Seasons.
F.C. Brighton's Academy program enables our youth to compete throughout the year. We strive to provide each individual player the opportunity to play soccer in an environment that is both challenging and supportive. Our coaching staff are trained to provide individual and team skills development that is appropriate for each child's interest and ability while maintaining a positive atmosphere that is stimulating physically, mentally and socially. The level of training, competition and opportunities available through the Academy program are extensive and far beyond those available through traditional recreational soccer programs.
What Do Fees Cover?
U9-U10: includes Fall and Spring Seasons*
Pre-season programming is complimentary for early registrations.
Registration close dates are enforced to ensure uniforms arrive prior to first game.
Uniform arrival date can not be guaranteed for late registrants.
Team placement can not be guaranteed for late registrants.
*($5 credit processing fee applied per transaction for payment plan option)
Assessments
All players participate in annual assessments (May/June) which allow our coaching staff to place them on a team that most closely matches their current level of skill and abilities. Please refer to the age chart to determine proper age bracket placement. Our goal is to find an appropriate team for every player who wants to participate in the program.
